Gas for the mower...

While doing yard work this past weekend I was thinking, as you often have some quality thinking time when doing such, I got to thinking about gas prices. I paid $3.32(9) this weekend by the way and saw it at another station for $2.28(9) [It's been as high as $3.18 or so] You may know where this is going...My question to self was...What gas milage does my mower get? and How do you find out? Any creative ideas as to how one could find out?

Could you drive your car over and over the area you mow and then compare how much gas you used with how much your mower used, and then you could probably calculate it.

The only problem would be you'd have to know your car's gas mileage. And maybe your car wouldn't quite fit in your yard the same way as the mower. And it might be a little labor intensive to figure out how to measure how much gas your mower had left, unless of course it has a gauge.

So maybe you should just not worry about it, and just be happy with the gas prices.
